SiC Smart Switch & High-Voltage Power Demos at APEC 2025

At APEC 2025, Analog Devices highlighted their focus on advanced power solutions for demanding applications with their SiC Smart Switch, a cascode JFET-based solution with integrated temperature monitoring and overcurrent protection, simplifying high-voltage power designs.

They also demonstrated a 2kW bi-directional DC-DC converter operating at 800V–1200V and an 11kW onboard charger (OBC) designed for automotive and data center applications, ensuring high reliability and efficiency.
