The Undermentioned Areas Where IoT Should be a Priority

When we think about IoT, we think smart homes equipped with refrigerators that tell you when it’s time to shop and thermostats that regulate home temperature and energy use, but there are critical industries where remote monitoring, along with the power of the IoT could be very useful. Oftentimes, infrastructure, water, and oil/gas fly under the radar because making the types of changes needed to smarten them up would be a major undertaking.

Ariel Stern, Co-Founder of Ayyeka, and trained electrical engineer, joins us to talk about how his company is focusing on digitizing what were once very mechanical processes in these industries.

More About Ariel:

Ariel co-founded Ayyeka to support infrastructure stakeholders with digitizing their operations. Prior to Ayyeka, Ariel worked in the infrastructure space as the project manager of major transportation and critical infrastructure projects. His early career was in defense where he served in a multitude of roles of project management and operational roles that included multidisciplinary projects in the space of communications, electronics, and software systems.

Ariel was awarded the Admiral’s Prize from the Israeli Air Force in recognition of his contribution to operational readiness and situational awareness.

Ariel holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
