The smallest external-wiring Molex connectors that are qualified to automotive standards are Mini50 and ConnTAK50 connectors. These systems use 0.50mm terminals to provide compact, unsealed solutions for passenger compartment wiring and other automotive applications.
The Mini50 design meets USCAR 050 standards and offers two to 38 circults, while ConnTAK50 Connectors meet European LV214 standards, use the Arbeitskreis (AK) terminal interface and are available with two to 22 circuits. Both connectors offer two-row configurations with multiple latching options available.
